Lentil & Vege Shepherd’s Pie
Anna + EmTonight’s dinner was delish and seriously jam-packed full of nutrients, fibre and flavour – Lentil Shepherds Pie. Just another one of our many meals using our pre-made Veg-packed passata. The longer that you can let this one simmer, the more intense the flavours will get, so pop it on the stove at lunchtime for the ultimate dinner. If you don’t have the time though and need to do it all at once, never fear – it is still amazing.

Ingredients
- 400 ml jar veg-packed passata
- 1 tin brown lentils rinsed
- 1-2 tbsp mixed herbs / Italian seasoning ? you can add extra veg for more texture- I used
- 1 cup frozen peas & corn
- 1 cup 'clear the crisper' veges chopped (broccoli, capsicum, carrot etc)
Pie Topping
- 5 peeled potatos chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
- 2 tbsp creme fresh or use milk or cream of choice
- sea salt & pepper to taste
