Quick, delish and super easy, 3 ingredient, raspberry chia jam. Why bother making your own?? 🤔 Did you know that some ‘store-bought’ jam contains more sugar than it does fruit! 😳 But not this version. Fresh orange juice is the natural sweetener here (we used juice of two oranges) and there is no added sugar.
INGREDIENTS
Juice of two oranges
2 cups frozen raspberries
2-3 tbs chia seeds
METHOD
Pop everything into a small saucepan on low heat. Stir well to combine it and watch the orange juice begin to caramelise; the chia seeds do their thing (become nice and gummy and bind it all together!) and watch the raspberries melt into a beautiful red ‘jam’. And that’s it! Allow it to cool and then store in an empty glass jar, with a screw top lid. 🍃Store it in the fridge for up to a week (if it lasts that long 😉
🍃We served ours with on our heated oats this morning and then enjoyed some more on our homemade pancakes with banana for morning tea 😋😋😋 Delicious on your morning oats, porridge, toast or with natural yoghurt.
