Simple Beef Burger

We like is simple…and simple beef burgers are a pretty regular go to for us! Homemade using locally sourced grass-fed beet mince means you don't need much else to make these patties taste simply delicious!

- 500 g beef mince grass-fed is possible
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs or almond meal (if need GF)
- 1 carrot grated
- 1 zucchini grated
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard or seeded mustard
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp mixed herbs dried
- 1 garlic minced
- Sea salt
To serve
- 50 g cheese
- 4 breadrolls
- Opt: salad, tomatoes, pickles, coleslaw,
In a bowl place beef mince, egg, grated carrot, zucchini, mustard, cumin, herbs and salt.
Mix together well, using hands.
Use a large spoon to scoop out mixture and roll into patties of desired size.
Lay patties on a plate and pop in fridge to set (if time allows and you are cooking later). If time is short, omit this step.
Warm pan or BBQ to medium heat. Cook patties on both sides, until cooked through.
Serve with a side salad/ veggies or create an epic homemade burger with all the toppings - options are endless!
