1cupnuts(we normally use cashews, and/ or almonds)
1/2cupshredded coconut
1-2tbspcacao powder
BASE INGREDIENTS (WET)
1tbspcoconut oil
1-2tbsptahini
Or 1 tbsp coconut oil + 1-2 tbsp rice malt syrupor maple syrup or honey.
FILLING INGREDIENTS
1tinpure coconut cream
1cupcashews, soaked(2-3 hours)
1-2tbsprice malt syrup (or honey or maple syrup)
1tspvanilla extract
Extra berries (to pop on top)
Instructions
To make the BASE - BLEND dry base ingredients together until well ground (texture is up to you). Then combine wet and dry ingredients together, until it forms a wet but crumbly dough + PRESS into base of silicone mould. Squash it down.
BLEND together all filling ingredients, expect berries. Add FILLING ingredients on top of your base in the small silicone moulds and POP berries on top.
PLACE in freezer until set (2-3 hours should do it!). Enjoy!
Notes
STORAGEMust be stored in the fridge or freezer as these will soften at room temperature. While these whole food sweets are a much better option than store bought, please enjoy in moderation and be mindful of serving sizes.
