Simple Beef Burger
We like is simple…and simple beef burgers are a pretty regular go to for us! Homemade using locally sourced grass-fed beet mince means you don’t need much else to make these patties taste simply delicious!
Ingredients
- 500 g beef mince grass-fed is possible
- 1 carrot grated
- 1 zucchini grated
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard or seeded mustard
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp mixed herbs dried
- 1 garlic minced
- Sea salt
To serve
- 50 g cheese
- 4 breadrolls
- Opt: salad, tomatoes, pickles, coleslaw,
Instructions
- In a bowl place beef mince, grated carrot, zucchini, mustard, cumin, herbs and salt.
- Mix together well, using hands.
- Use a large spoon to scoop out mixture and roll into patties of desired size.
- Lay patties on a plate and pop in fridge to set (if time allows and you are cooking later). If time is short, omit this step.
- Warm pan or BBQ to medium heat. Cook patties on both sides, until cooked through.
- Serve with a side salad/ veggies or create an epic homemade burger with all the toppings – options are endless!

Tip: Double the batch roll in to patties and freeze half uncooked for another night – we are all about bulk batch prep.
