Turmeric roasted cauliflower

You all know that we are OBSESSED with roasted cauliflower and literally eat this thing like popcorn! Well, we thought that for those of you who haven’t tried it (WT..????) no, sorry, you have to give it a go!  So here is one of our favourite dead-easy ways to roast your cauliflower… thank us later!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 head cauliflower broken into florets
  • 1 tbsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 3 tbsp melted coconut oil or olive oil
  • Sea salt & black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 210 degrees C and line a baking tray with baking paper or foil.
  • Break cauliflower into florets and place directly onto tray.
  • Drizzle with oil and then sprinkle over the turmeric, cumin and S&P.  Toss to combine.
  • Pop into pre-heated oven and cook for approx 10 mins.
  • Turn the cauliflower and return to oven for a further 5-10 mins cooking time.
  • Keep an eye on it though, as cooking times may vary.  Cauliflower will turn a delicious golden brown with slightly crunchy edges.  Remove from oven and try to hold yourself back while you wait for it to cool before eating.

This is amazing topped with our Supergreen powerhouse OR our Tahini Lemon dressing and some toasted almonds!!  You. Are. Welcome!
This is best eaten immediately but will keep for up to 3 days in the fridge. Does not freeze well.
