
Blueberry Beet Smoothie
Anna + EmThis vibrant smoothie is full of anti-oxidants and tastes extremely decadent.  If you find yourself reaching for something sweet to beat that afternoon slump – this could be just the antidote! This is a really great nutritious smoothie for the kids too – they will never know about the beets….sshhh!  You could also sneak some spinach (or other leafy green) in there too – the beautiful purple colour will disguise the green. Promise!

Ingredients
- 2 scoop SSH vanilla protein powder
- 1 1/2 cups milk (of choice) or water
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1-2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 large beetroot scrubbed or peeled
- 1/2 banana frozen
Instructions
- Pop all ingredients into your high speed blender and whizz on high for 60 seconds, until beautifully smooth.
- Sprinkle with a little extra cinnamon (if desired).
- Pour into your glass, and drink in the deliciousness.
